Network Engineer

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced Network Engineer to join a leading enterprise organization.

Position Overview

This role involves full responsibility for the engineering, operation, and maintenance of advanced network infrastructures based on Cisco technologies. The position includes managing user networks, data center environments, and wireless networks (WiFi 6(e)), as well as networks based on Meraki solutions. You’ll also handle IP telephony infrastructures, IPAM systems, and load balancers, while leading Tier-3 troubleshooting and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain Cisco-based communication networks across enterprise environments.
• Manage and support user networks, data centers, and WiFi 6(e) wireless networks.
• Oversee and configure Meraki-based network systems.
• Administer IP telephony systems, IPAM, and load balancers.
• Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues and ensure service continuity.
• Lead and execute infrastructure projects across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering .
• Cisco certification (CCNP / CCDP) or higher
• At least 5 years of experience working in a communication/network team within a large organization
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining Cisco-based networks using Catalyst 9K or Nexus equipment
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, routing, switching, and security principles.
• High-level technical English, including the ability to write detailed technical documentation
