Field Engineer

Zimark is building next-generation logistics technology powered by computer vision and edge computing. Our solutions combine industrial hardware, advanced software pipelines, and on-site deployments to transform how warehouses operate.

We are looking for a hands-on Field Engineer to bridge our R&D and QA teams with real-world deployments. This role blends IT know-how with hardware awareness: setting up and maintaining Linux-based industrial systems, integrating cameras and networking, and ensuring smooth operation of our edge devices in warehouse environments.

You will be the go-to person when it comes to taking our lab work into the field: installing systems, running tests, solving practical issues on-site, and documenting findings for the team.

• Set up and maintain industrial Linux-based computers in lab and warehouse environments
• Deploy and manage software versions across devices
• Assist with flashing, configuration, and integration of edge systems
• Work with cameras and sensors, including installation and parameter tuning
• Handle practical networking needs (e.g., IP configurations, connectivity checks)
• Troubleshoot hardware and system issues as they arise
• Run and support QA in executing end-to-end tests
• Keep clear documentation of configurations, fixes, and test results

• Background in IT systems, computer hardware, or related technical field (1–3 years’ experience; strong motivated junior also considered)
• Comfortable working with Linux environments
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, connectivity, routers/switches setup)
• Hands-on approach, not afraid to deal with cables, mounts, and field installations
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and clear documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with R&D and QA teams, and adapt to a fast-moving environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with industrial computers, NVIDIA Jetson, or similar edge devices
• Familiarity with camera systems, IoT hardware, or warehouse/industrial setups
