About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineering Team Lead to join our Professional Services group.

In this role, you’ll lead a small team of data engineers and work directly with global customers to design, build, and deliver advanced analytics and BI solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with customers to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Lead and mentor a small team of professional services data engineers
• Design and implement data pipelines, schemas, and analytical models (AI and BI solutions)
• Manage ETL processes, reporting, queries, and data analysis
• Ensure delivery excellence and solution quality for global Life Science customers
• Solve complex data and technical challenges in dynamic environments

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Team Lead
• Proven experience leading analytics or data engineering projects for external (international) customers – a must
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data warehouse and BI environments
• Solid ETL development experience and familiarity with complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a business-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Redshift / Postgres or Azure Synapse
• Familiarity with AWS / Azure environments
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Background in Life Science / Pharma analytics
• Working on AI solutions
