Innovation & Business Development Associate

Clalit Innovation is the innovation arm of Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest healthcare organization. We leverage Clalit’s vast data, clinical expertise, and operational scale to drive transformative innovations that improve care, patient experience, and population health.

Through collaborations with startups, global companies, and academic institutions, we pilot and scale cutting-edge health technologies across Israel and internationally.

Position Overview

This entry-level, support-oriented role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual eager to work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business strategy.

The Associate supports partnership development, pilot implementation, and internal operations — including market research, financial support, coordination of contracts, and cross-team follow-up.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in healthcare innovation, business development, and multi-sector collaboration within one of the world’s most data-rich health systems.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Support

• Assist with outreach to startups, partners, and academic collaborators.
• Prepare background briefs, presentations, and partnership materials.
• Track partnership pipelines and coordinate follow-ups and meetings.

Market & Strategic Research

• Conduct market landscape scans and competitive analyses in digital health, AI, and genetics.
• Summarize insights for decision-making and internal reports.

Financial & Operational Assistance

• Support budget tracking, pricing models, and SOW preparation.
• Work with finance and BD teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Legal & Contract Coordination

• Manage administrative processes for NDAs, MOUs, and vendor contracts.
• Track approvals and maintain accurate documentation.

Project & Communication Support

• Assist in monitoring timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Maintain dashboards and project management tools.
• Prepare concise reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, public health, or related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in business development, innovation, or consulting (internships or junior roles acceptable).
• Excellent English and Hebrew communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Team player: proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.

Preferred

• Familiarity with healthcare systems, digital health, or innovation environments.
• Experience in BD or project coordination.
• Exposure to contracting or vendor management processes.
