Role Overview
The Operational Project Manager is responsible for translating strategy and project plans into execution, ensuring projects move forward effectively, on time, and at the required quality.
This hands-on role drives operational efficiency, process improvements, and automation initiatives while maintaining a big-picture perspective and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Process Management
- Build and manage operational project plans, including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resources.
- Lead end-to-end project execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and progress toward organizational goals.
- Track project progress, budgets, risks, KPIs, and deliverables, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Identify and resolve blockers in real-time, maintain smooth workflow, and minimize delays.
- Run status meetings, lead decision-making, and translate discussions into actionable steps.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders: Legal, Finance, Compliance, Security, Infrastructure to ensure seamless execution.
- Optimize processes and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adapt plans quickly in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining focus on overall objectives.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Track project progress, budgets, risks, and KPIs.
- Analyze trends, identify blockers, and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Prepare regular performance reports and insights for leadership.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.
- Contribute system enhancements and tools to optimize operational processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven analysis.
Standards & Knowledge Management
- Maintain clear documentation, project knowledge, and operational standards.
- Ensure effective knowledge sharing across teams.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Operations, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in operational project management or process-focused roles.
- Experience managing high-value or complex projects, preferably in corporate or Hitech Companies.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end project execution across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows, risk management, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems.
- Experience implementing automation or process improvement initiatives.
- Fluent English.
