Job Description:

For one of the leading companies in the communications and technology sector in Israel, we are seeking an experienced System Expert with a strong background in Networking infrastructure to join the Information Systems and Organizational Infrastructure team.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving server environments, cloud systems, and network infrastructures, with a strong focus on availability, performance, and information security.

The selected candidate will be a key player in the core infrastructure team and will take part in strategic projects within a complex enterprise organization, combining advanced technologies across System, Networking, and Automation domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management, maintenance, and upgrades of Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and more.
• Administration and maintenance of virtualization infrastructures: VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Design, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructures: LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, Routing, and Switching.
• Management of network equipment including Switches, Firewalls, and Routers from vendors such as Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Cross-system troubleshooting and Tier 3-4 support.
• Working with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and SolarWinds.
• Writing procedures, system documentation, configuration documentation, knowledge preservation, and training of technical teams.
• Leading cross-organizational technology projects in System, Networking, and Security domains.
• Developing automation processes and writing scripts to streamline operations (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Close collaboration with Information Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

Professional Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in System roles within an Enterprise organization or a large technology company.
• Significant experience managing Windows and or Linux environments, including AD, Exchange, IIS, and DNS.
• Strong Networking background, including design and implementation of complex network architectures, Routing and Switching, VLANs, and Firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization environments (VMware or Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN or NAS).
• Experience working with Cloud environments (Azure or AWS) is an advantage.
• Experience in automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible) is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with advanced monitoring and control systems.
