This is an executive-level technical product ownership role in which you will control the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across our complete learning platform. What You Will Be Doing

• Cultivating and applying deep expertise in education products to inform strategic decisions
• Authoring technical specifications that resolve critical technical choices and emphasize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainable design
• Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, in alignment with the strategic objective of minimizing manual effort

• Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, owning foundational competencies and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic judgment
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Significant experience or strong interest in data-driven learning science
• 7+ years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-generating product
• Experience developing product features that leverage advanced Generative AI capabilities
• Experience applying Generative AI to streamline work processes

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
