Mechanical Engineer

Airobotics Drones, one of Israel’s leading companies in the development and manufacturing of autonomous aircraft systems, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a mechanical design position focused on airborne and ground assemblies.

The company’s offices are located in Petah Tikva (Segula Junction).

• In this role, you will be part of the mechanical engineering team responsible for leading projects end-to-end, including mechanical design, drafting, design verification testing, collaboration with internal departments, external suppliers, and supporting development and production phases.
  
  

• Mechanical design of airborne and ground assemblies, including preparation of manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Leading mechanical projects from requirements definition through customer delivery
• Managing and supporting development and production through subcontractors
• Working closely with system engineers, engineering, integration teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Writing design reviews, assembly instructions, and supporting design verification / feasibility tests
• Solving engineering challenges under tight schedules and technological constraints
  
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (must)
• At least 3 years of experience developing multi-disciplinary products
• Full and proven proficiency in SolidWorks (must)
• Strong hands-on capabilities (must)
• Experience designing products intended for serial / mass production
• Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies:
• 3D printing, CNC machining, plastic and metallic materials
• Strong teamwork skills, high interpersonal communication, organizational abilities, self-learning skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  
  

• Experience working with PDM systems
• Experience designing airborne systems, preferably in the drone industry
• Background in defense companies or participation in defense-related projects – significant advantage
