Product Manager – C5i Platform (Homeland Security)

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the definition and evolution of our C5i (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration & Intelligence) platform, serving the Homeland Security (HLS) market. Our platform is operationally deployed, integrating multi-domain sensors, command & control, analytics, and operational workflows for national and critical infrastructure security.

This role is responsible for translating customer missions, operational needs, and market requirements into clear, actionable product requirements that guide R&D and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

Product Discovery & Requirements

• Own product management for the C5i platform across homeland security use cases (e.g. border security, critical infrastructure protection).
• Gather and analyze requirements from:
• End customers (HLS agencies, operators, command center personnel)
• Field teams, system engineers, and delivery teams
• Sales, pre-sales, and partners
• Translate operational concepts and mission needs into:
• Product requirements documents (PRDs)
• Epics, features, and user stories
• Clear acceptance criteria and priorities
  
  

• Define platform capabilities aligned with concepts:
• Multi-sensor integration (video, radar, Perimeter intrusion, Access Control, AI analytics, Autonomous drones, Counter UAV etc.)
• Incident management and workflows
• Ensure modularity, scalability, and interoperability with third-party systems.
• Balance platform roadmap vs. customer-specific configurations.
  
  

• Act as the primary product interface to R&D, architecture, and system engineering teams.
• Clarify “what” and “why” while enabling teams to define the “how”.
• Support agile development cycles with continuous backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
  
  

• Maintain deep understanding of the HLS C5i market, including:
• Competitive platforms
• Standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Emerging technologies (AI, video analytics, edge processing, sensor fusion)
• Contribute to product positioning and differentiation.
  
  

• Support pre-sales and business development with:
• Product narratives and value propositions
• Use cases and operational scenarios
• RFP requirement analysis and compliance mapping
• Assist in demos, PoCs, and customer workshops when needed.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Systems Engineering, or Technical Product roles for complex platforms.
• Proven experience with C5/C4I/C5i, command & control, or security platforms.
• Strong understanding of Homeland Security or Defense markets.
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-stakeholder systems.
• Ability to translate operational concepts into structured product requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile / hybrid development environments.
  
  

• Background in systems integration or mission-critical platforms.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion, video management systems (VMS), or PSIM platforms.
• Experience supporting RFPs and customer-facing technical engagements.
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics and intelligence platforms.
