Hands-On Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced Software Team Lead to guide a development team while remaining actively involved in hands-on coding. In this role, you will drive technical decisions, ensure high-quality delivery, and collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams. If you enjoy leading people, improving processes, and building scalable, reliable solutions, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support the development team, ensuring clear goals and timely delivery.
• Contribute to hands-on development (backend, frontend, or fullstack depending on expertise).
• Drive architecture decisions, performance improvements, and security best practices.
• Work with product and project managers to define requirements and sprint goals.
• Maintain coding standards, code review processes, and system reliability.
• Solve complex technical issues and continuously optimize workflows and development practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience using modern languages or frameworks, preferably with proficiency in Java.
• 2+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience.
• Solid experience with SQL and familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, and scalable system design.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for code quality, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
