Junior Safety Officer

About The Role

We are seeking Engineers or Practical Engineers (Handesa'im) who have recently completed their studies and are interested in a career in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). We offer a unique opportunity to receive full sponsorship for the official Safety Officer Certification and embark on a comprehensive training program.

The training will span approximately one year and will include practical, hands-on experience on our offshore drilling rigs. This is a full-time position within a leading international company, offering excellent conditions for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the company's global HSE policies and ensure effective safety control processes on site.
• Conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and optimize work procedures.
• Lead safety training sessions and coordinate emergency drills.
• Supervise contractors and ensure strict compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide HSE support for fieldwork, including management of Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other critical safety protocols.
  
  

• Native-level or bilingual English proficiency is mandatory.
• Completed studies in Engineering or Practical Engineering (Handesa'i).
• Willingness to commit to the Safety Officer Certification training program.
• Willingness to work offshore (on drilling rigs/vessels).
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Flexibility for shift work (rotational schedule).
