An innovative AgTech startup is looking for a Research Assistant with a strong microbiology background and a clear interest in plants, agriculture, and applied R&D.
This role combines laboratory research and field work, and is ideal for candidates early in their career who want hands-on experience in agricultural biotechnology.
Responsibilities:
- Support R&D experiments: planning, execution, documentation, and data analysis
- Laboratory operation: media and solution preparation, equipment handling
- Isolation, identification, and quantification of bacteria
- Development and execution of biochemical assays
- Literature review and scientific data analysis
- Work both in the lab and in field experiments
Requirements:
- MSc in Microbiology, Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Sciences
- or
- BSc + at least 2 years of experience in a microbiology lab
- Hands-on experience working under sterile conditions
- Strong laboratory and technical skills
- Willingness to work both in the lab and in the field
- High-level English (scientific reading and writing)
Advantage:
- Background in plant-related, soil, or environmental research
- Experience in applied R&D or AgTech
