Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize highly scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time data ingestion, forming the core of our data ecosystem.
• Design and enhance robust integrations with external financial systems, including leading banks, ERP platforms, and payment processors.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into innovative, data-driven solutions that directly impact our users.
• Champion best practices in data quality, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our data platform.
  
  

• Proven expertise (5+ years) in Python development, coupled with strong SQL proficiency for complex data modeling and query optimization.
• Extensive experience with diverse data ingestion strategies (real-time and batch), API integrations, and secure authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency with modern ETL/ELT tools and orchestrators such as Meltano, Airflow, and dbt.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• A highly analytical mindset with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable business insights.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development workflows and innovate solutions.
