Head of Finance

Winn.ai is strengthening its finance function as the company continues to scale.

We are looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to take full ownership of the company’s finance activities and bring them in-house.

The financial infrastructure exists today and is partially supported by external partners. This role is about internalizing, owning, and elevating the finance function.

Day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and month-end close are handled by an external accounting firm.

The Head of Finance owns the oversight, control, and financial clarity.

This is an evolving role, designed to grow together with the company.

The Head of Finance will act as a true business partner to the CEO and leadership team, with broad ownership across finance, operations, and commercial finance.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end ownership of the company’s finance function
• Budget management, forecasting, and cash flow control
• Investor and management reporting; support fundraising processes
• Payroll accounting, expenses, banking, travel management, and insurance
• Employee stock options and equity-related processes
• GTM commission structures and financial support for go-to-market teams
• Financial review of customer contracts and ownership of collections
• Close collaboration with executive leadership and key stakeholders
• Oversight of subsidiary financial operations
• Ongoing work with external partners while building strong in-house ownership
• Ownership of core SaaS Metrics
  
  

• 5+ experience years after completing an internship
• After one or two roles in a scaling company
• Strong accounting and financial operations background
• Proven experience managing commercial and contractual aspects
• Experience working closely with senior leadership in a growing organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Business Administration (Master’s – advantage)
• CPA certification – mandatory
• Startup / high-tech experience - Must have
