Role overview

End-to-end responsibility for the company’s IT infrastructure with a strong focus on System administration: servers, virtualization, backups, access control and hardening. In parallel, ownership of key networking tasks: VLAN/VPN, routing/switching, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex production incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environments: AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, file services, and permissions.
• Operate VMware/Hyper-V: day-to-day administration, upgrades, performance, and availability.
• Own backup and restore processes (e.g., Veeam) and basic DR procedures.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, documentation, and procedures.
• Support networking infrastructure: LAN/WAN/VLAN/VPN, working with Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate/Palo Alto (or similar).
• Monitor infrastructure and network using PRTG/Zabbix/SolarWinds (or similar) and drive stability improvements.

Must-have requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a mid-to-large organization (production environment).
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows, AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Proven networking background: VLAN, VPN, routing/switching, incident troubleshooting.
• Independent, organized, with strong infrastructure-level thinking.
