Data Engineer

A profitable HealthTech startup with dozens of employees, offering an AI-based SaaS product that supports medical processes and enhances performance and user experience.

The company is located in central Israel near a train line and offers a hybrid work model of up to 3 days from home.

Role overview-

• Reports to the Team Lead
• Responsible for architecture and design
• Take end-to-end ownership of tasks
• Gain comprehensive understanding of the Data Engineering domain
• Process and transform data from multiple external sources
• Build and maintain an internal serving platform
• Work at large scale with complex medical data
• Integrate with diverse internal and external interfaces
• Collaborate closely with the business core
• Work with Python, SQL, ETL, AWS, serverless products, CI/CD, and Kubernetes

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years as a data engineer.
• Proven track record designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with relational and analytical data platforms
• Strong coding skills (preferably in Python), with prior software engineering experience a plus.
• Experience with cloud environments, AWS preferable
