A Day in the Life

Engineering Student is at Yokneam Engineering, focusing on manufacturing processes, line equipment, and maintenance. The work is under the supervision and mentoring of experienced team members.

The Engineering Student will work with various functions in Yokneam Operations – Production, Quality, as well as with different professionals inside the Engineering department.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support manufacturing engineering activities on the production floor, including process optimization, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment and machines, under supervision as needed.
• Perform basic manufacturing and engineering support tasks, including routine checks, simple technical tasks, and assistance to operators and engineers.
• Participate in data analysis, root cause investigations, documentation of procedures, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Support validation activities, equipment qualification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D, Operations) on daily manufacturing needs.
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Undergraduate student of 2nd or 3rd year in technical field – (at least 3 semesters to graduate) mechanics/electronics/mechatronics or similar
• Technical background is a serious advantage
• Time management and punctuality
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Hands-on
• Fluent Hebrew, good English (writing, reading)
