Material Planner

Job Summary

As a Material Planner within the HW Technology Program Management organization, you will support material management activities for hardware development programs.

You will play a key role in ensuring prototype materials are planned, tracked, manufactured and delivered on time to support engineering, validation and program milestones.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple material flows, priorities, and timelines in parallel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and support prototype material management processes across cross-functional teams
• Track material status, inventory levels, shortages and risks, and proactively flag gaps or misalignments
• Work closely with program managers, engineering, operations and supply chain partners to ensure timely execution
• Maintain documentation and reports, verifying systems are kept accurate and up to date to support decision-making and program reviews
• Take full ownership to manage and order special parts required for builds
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and conflicts and drive resolution through disciplined follow-up
• Coordinate timely material distribution to engineering, silicon, and validation teams
• Take part in continuous improvement cycle for material planning and logistics processes, contributing to increased efficiency, clarity, and predictability

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and task ownership, with the ability to manage high volumes of details accurately
• Experience in material management, planning, logistics, or operations, preferably within a hardware or technology environment.
• High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, "can-do” attitude with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, planning tools, and tracking systems

Education

·        BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management / equivalent education

·        3+ years of relevant experience preferred

• Experience in a semiconductor industry, Supply chain planning background is an advantage
