Operations/ Logistics Specialist (entry level)

The Company:

Our client is a global logistics company with offices in Israel and around worldwide including Europe, the USA, and APAC.

The Role:

We have several entry-level operations roles as part of the airport operations team at Ben Gurion Airport. These roles involve supporting cargo load planning, supervising cargo handling, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring all cargo operations run safely and efficiently. These positions are part of operations teams rotating in 8.5-hour shifts around the clock, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage flight and cargo documentation accurately.
• Coordinate cargo load planning and support physical loading and offloading of cargo.
• Communicate with sales, warehouse staff, ramp agents, and external service providers.
• Monitor cargo build-up, track discrepancies, and ensure timely flight closure.
• Ensure proper handling of dangerous goods in compliance with IATA and company regulations.
• Maintain system updates and clear communication between teams.
• Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• Available to work in shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as the airport terminal is not accessible by public or airport transport services.
• Good communication skills in Hebrew and at least basic English.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Hardworking and energetic with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in cargo, logistics, aviation, or freight forwarding is an advantage.
• Team player with integrity and the ability to follow strict operational procedures.
