Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to be a core pillar of our engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and implement high-performance resilient APIs and services
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing your knowledge and expertise
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver robust solutions in short development iterations
• Develop maintainable and clean code with heavy reliance on developer testing
• Make thoughtful trade-offs based on business priorities, user needs, and a sustainable technical foundation

Recruitments:

• An experienced Backend Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in the field.
• Knowledge in Go / Typescript - advantage
• Extensive experience with web development practices and methodologies
• Experience with processes such as TDD / Extreme Programming / Kanban - a big plus.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers.
• Experience in designing, prioritizing, and leading software projects.
• Experience working with microservices/event-driven architectures.
• Can juggle at least three flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle
• B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).

• Experience in B2B & B2B2C Self-Serve SaaS.
• Fintech/Payments industry background.
