Cloud Billing Specialist

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Cloud Billing Specialist to take ownership of our end-to-end billing operations and ensure a seamless, accurate, and transparent invoicing experience for our customers. This is a critical role in maintaining trust, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting our clients' cloud cost efficiency journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the billing process from start to invoice issuance
• Input and validate client pricing data using the Umbrella platform
• Generate accurate monthly invoices in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with clients to address questions, provide billing details, and ensure clarity
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate billing processes, including working closely with the dev team
• Report any errors or inconsistencies transparently and promptly

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in billing, cost analysis, or FinOps
• Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets (advanced formulas, analysis)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ownership mindset.
• High-level written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams.
• Hands-on FinOps experience – especially around AWS billing - Advantage
• Experience using AWS Cost Explorer or managing cloud cost data - Advantage
• Experience from cloud/SaaS/reseller environments - Advantage
