Automation Engineer

A rapidly growing cybersecurity startup with significant investments, employing thousands globally, with most based in Israel.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and offers a hybrid work model.

Role overview

• Develop tests and infrastructure for the endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product
• First role in the Agent team, with opportunity to develop components from scratch
• Build test plans for the Windows agent
• Develop infrastructure and automation in Python
• Work with low-level system components and drivers
• Ensure reliability and stability of the Agent
• Integrate with Windows internals
• Perform manual testing as part of development

Requirements-

• 3 years of hands-on experience in Python (automation scripting, tools, or test development).
• 2 years of experience testing desktop applications on Windows and/or macOS.
• Proven ability to design and execute manual tests with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Pytest or similar automation testing frameworks.
• Experience defining QA processes, writing test cases, and maintaining documentation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to establish QA discipline in a growing team.
• Test and validate low-level components, integrations, and driver behavior on Windows.
