A well-established and recognized Israeli manufacturing company in the dietary supplements industry is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join its Quality Department. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of quality and food safety processes in a regulated, professional production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for quality and food safety processes on the production floor
- Leading risk assessments and implementing HACCP and PRP programs
- Managing non-conformities arising from production processes and handling customer complaints
- Defining and overseeing cleaning and sanitation processes
- Managing sampling plans and quality monitoring programs
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives, change management, and lessons learned from events
- Training managers and employees on quality and food safety topics
- Direct management of Quality Control Inspectors (team of 4)
Requirements:
- BSc in Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field – required
- Previous professional experience in quality management or quality processes in manufacturing – required
- Proven ability to lead processes, manage teams, and motivate people
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
