PHY System Team Leader

We are looking for a PHY System Team Leader to lead and drive PHY system activities across the full product lifecycle, from feature definition through integration, validation, and delivery.

• Lead end-to-end 5G PHY system activities, from feature development to system integration
• Serve as the technical focal point for all PHY and RF-related aspects
• Define and own system-level requirements for PHY components
• Optimize and fine-tune PHY layer algorithms to improve performance and efficiency of base-station products
• Drive lab testing and validation using RF test equipment
• Own and maintain CI/CD flows for PHY performance and conformance testing
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the PHY team
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Software, DSP, RF, and Hardware, to ensure seamless integration
  

• Experience in wireless communications, PHY layer development, or system integration
• Previous experience leading or managing technical teams
• Strong understanding of wireless communication systems
• Good understanding of RF RX and TX chains
• Hands-on experience with RF lab test equipment
• Experience with scripting languages such as Matlab or Python
• Strong system-level perspective in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English, and ability to work in a global, multi-site environment
  

• Knowledge of 4G / 5G physical layer specifications
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Background in advanced wireless technologies such as Massive MIMO and beamforming
