Penetration Testing Team Lead-5513

A leading global cybersecurity organization is looking for a Penetration Testing Team Lead to join its Offensive Security / Professional Services group. This is a senior, high-impact role combining deep hands-on offensive security expertise with people leadership, customer engagement, and operational ownership in a global environment.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, relationship-driven leader who is passionate about offensive security, service excellence, and developing high-performing teams while delivering outstanding customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of penetration testers across multiple regions
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence, collaboration, and ownership
• Support continuous technical and professional growth of team members

Delivery & Customer Excellence

• Own delivery excellence end-to-end for penetration testing engagements
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent execution across all projects
• Participate in pre-sales discussions and technical scoping with customers
• Manage workload distribution and optimize team utilization
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout every engagement

Operational Excellence

• Drive measurable KPIs including utilization, delivery timelines, report quality, and customer satisfaction
• Continuously improve methodologies, processes, and best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Product, R&D, Incident Response, and Delivery teams
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and align efforts to support service growth
• Contribute technical insights to the development of new offensive security offerings

Innovation & Knowledge Sharing

• Contribute to global knowledge bases, training materials, and methodology evolution
• Lead initiatives that improve service quality, efficiency, and technical depth

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience (Web, Mobile, API, Cloud)
• Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding technical teams
• Strong understanding of offensive security methodologies (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, Cloud Security)
• Experience participating in pre-sales and technical scoping – a strong advantage
• Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication skills
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and lead without formal authority
• Experience working with distributed global teams and multiple time zones
• Relevant certifications (OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, GXPN, CRTE) – an advantage
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
