Java Software Engineer

A leading cybersecurity startup has developed a cloud-based SaaS platform enabling automated identity and access management for enterprise organizations.

The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train line and employs dozens of people. Following significant funding rounds, the company serves a large number of global clients.

Role overview-

• Backend development as part of the Infrastructure & Integration team
• Primarily in Java (80%) with some Go
• Enhance and lead core capabilities of the company's SaaS security product
• Work with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
• Build and maintain Docker- and Kubernetes-based microservices in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Participate in Agile processes (TDD/BDD, Extreme Programming)
• Develop high-scale multi-tenancy systems
• Engage in full CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend/Backend Developers, and QA Engineers
• Take ownership of design patterns and advanced software infrastructure

Requirements-

• Master/bachelor’s degree in computer engineering
• 5 years of experience in Java/Go solutions with software infrastructure and design patterns
• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code
• Proficient with Unix/Linux environment
• Experience of more than 3 years with PostgreSQL
• Experience of more than 3 years with no-SQL DB like Elastichsearch, Mongo
• Experience of more than 5 years with Microservices, Docker/Containers, Kubernetes
• Experience in Cloud multi-tenancy systems on AWS and GCP
