What are we looking for:

Software Developer – SQL & Data Integration \ DBA.

Responsibilities

• 80%of the role involves optimizing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures for PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Improve schema design, indexing strategies, and query performance to support large-scale applications.
• Develop and maintain ETL processesand data pipelines to integrate data across systems.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient application–database interactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues in production environments.
• Contribute to automation of database-related tasksusing scripts and development tools.
• Participate in architectural discussions and bring a developer’s perspective to database design and optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong skills in writing and tuning complex SQL queries (core part of the role).
• Experience in designing and building ETL workflows and data integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, C#, etc.) for integration and automation.
• Solid experience working in Linux environments (installation, configuration, scripting).
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Advanced scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines involving database deployments.
