Algorithm Engineer

A successful startup that has developed an innovative low-latency wireless communication system. The company is located in Tel Aviv and offers two work-from-home days per week, with a team of 50 employees.

The role involves joining the Algorithms team, which serves as the brain behind the company’s next-generation modem, developing algorithms for a system that bypasses traditional fiber networks to deliver high-speed data.

The role includes:

• Designing groundbreaking algorithms for communication systems
• Conducting algorithmic research and balancing performance with practical implementation
• Collaborating with diverse teams across the organization
• Defining hardware-software requirements to enhance system performance
• Driving technological innovation and advancement
• Analyzing and providing recommendations on algorithmic and system features

Requirements-

• MSc or PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics
• Specialization in signal processing and communication systems
• 5+ years of practical experience
• Proven experience in developing communication algorithms
• Proficiency in MATLAB
• Practical or academic experience in AI
• Telecom industry experience – advantage
• Strong knowledge of C and Python – advantage
• Expertise in modems, 4G/5G – advantage
