AI Engineer

A startup developing an AI platform for creating intelligent workplace tools, enabling organizations to build tools for managing business processes.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, along the train line, has around 20 employees, and offers a hybrid work model with one work-from-home day.

Role overview -

• First-position hire in the company, reporting directly to the CTO
• Building new features from scratch on the AI platform
• Ownership of the AI product and leading it within the company
• Opportunity for significant impact and challenging work
• Developing full AI infrastructure, from architecture design to production
• Managing agents with complex orchestration
• Developing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
• Working with OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models
• Prompt engineering, defining safety guardrails, and fine-tuning models as needed

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience in Python development
• Mandatory experience with LLM and Machine Learning
• Experience in SaaS or Web companies (required)
• Proven experience building AI-based production applications
• Cloud experience – significant advantage
• Kubernetes and/or AWS Lambda experience – plus
