Automation Engineer

A leading defense company is seeking an Automation Developer for Linux Infrastructure.

The role includes:

• Maintaining and developing an automated testing system for Linux infrastructures
• Designing and implementing test frameworks, test scenarios, and executing tests for new deliverables
• Assisting in identifying and debugging issues discovered during testing and supporting application teams
• Implementing regression tests and generating reports
• Potential future involvement in kernel infrastructure development

Requirements-

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering – required
• At least 3 years of experience with Linux, including Embedded systems
• Experience writing applications and scripts on Linux
• Familiarity with development environments such as Eclipse and VSCode on Linux
• Knowledge of Linux system administration (server/workstation maintenance, virtual machines)
• Experience with configuration management and build/automation tools (Docker, Pipelines, Git, Azure)
• Experience with static testing tools
• Familiarity with using AI for coding – advantage
• Experience working with lab teams – advantage
