Mechanical Design Engineer

A stable and well-established defense company specializing in the development and production of RF electronic assemblies for military and civilian applications is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for all aspects of product design and mechanical engineering during the development phase and transition to production
• Close collaboration with electronics engineers, board designers, and PCB layout engineers

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in designing products that include electronic boards and/or RF circuits
• Experience in design for manufacturing using precision machining technologies, including tolerance stack-up calculations and statistical analysis
• Knowledge and proficiency in thermal management, statics, and dynamics, including: design to meet requirements, analytical calculations, and oversight of subcontracted analysis
• Experience with simulations using SolidWorks Simulation or similar software
• In-depth knowledge and experience in designing for harsh environmental conditions
• Experience in preparing product documentation and leading the transition from development to production, especially for process-oriented products
