DevOps Engineer

A stealth-mode startup developing an AI product for the semiconductor industry.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near the train line, offers one work-from-home day per week, and currently has a few dozen employees. It was founded by a successful serial entrepreneur and is well-funded.

The role-

• Part of the DevOps team, reporting directly to the Head of DevOps
• Small, hands-on team heavily involved in setup and architecture
• Working with Microservices
• Experience with Event-Driven Architectures
• Implementing GitOps practices
• Cloud experience with AWS
• Container orchestration using Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Monitoring and observability with OpenTelemetry
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Python development

Requirements-

• 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, or Rust.
• Practical experience working in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automating build and deployment processes.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions), and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
