Organizational Economist

Role Objective

To provide company management with accurate economic analyses, forecasts, and data to support business decision-making, improve profitability, manage cash flow, and build an economic infrastructure that supports the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Control

• Analysis of revenues, expenses, profitability, and cash flow

• Profitability analysis by products, channels, campaigns, and customers

• Identification of trends, anomalies, and financial risks

• Preparation of periodic management reports (monthly / quarterly)

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Preparation of annual and multi-year budgets

• Development of sales and cash flow forecasts

• Ongoing variance analysis versus actual performance

• Scenario analysis (optimistic / realistic / conservative)

Business Decision Support

• Building financial models to evaluate business feasibility

• ROI analysis for marketing activities, campaigns, and product launches

• Evaluation of entry into new markets, new products, and sales channels

• Support in product pricing and margin improvement

Cross-Organizational Collaboration

• Ongoing work with marketing, sales, operations, and logistics

• Collaboration with accountants, external consultants, and banks

• Preparation of financial materials for management, investors, and external stakeholders

Infrastructure and Control Tools Development

• Establishment and improvement of dashboards

• Implementation of financial KPIs

• Enhancement of measurement, control, and financial transparency processes

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Business Administration / Accounting – Required

• Master’s degree – Advantage

• 2–5 years of experience in an economic role within an organization or consulting firm

• Experience working with growing companies – Significant advantage

Professional Skills

• High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

• Ability to build financial models and analyze data

• Broad financial understanding (profitability, cash flow, pricing)

• Experience with ERP / BI systems – Advantage
