Mechanical Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and mechanisms for drone platforms and payloads
• Perform simulations, stress analysis, thermal analysis, and optimization of mechanical designs
• Create detailed 3D models, production drawings, and manufacturing documentation
• Work closely with electronics, robotics, and system engineering teams to integrate multidisciplinary components
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and field deployment
• Collaborate with external vendors and manufacturers (CNC, injection molding, composites, machining, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements

Must-Have:

• B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design (defense/robotics/embedded systems – advantage)
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks – must)
• Experience with DFM/DFT and production processes (machining, plastics, metals, composites)
• Experience in prototyping, testing, and working in a lab/hands-on environment
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with simulations (FEA – advantage)
• High level of English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UAV/drone systems
• Experience designing lightweight structures, linkages, and mechanical mechanisms
• Familiarity with electronics packaging or embedded hardware integration
• Experience working with defense or mission-critical systems
