Application Security Specialist

What You’ll Do

● Serve as a trusted cyber security advisor across IT and R&D teams

● Identify and assess security risks in infrastructure and application projects

● Define and implement security requirements and best practices throughout project

lifecycles

● Design secure system architectures in alignment with company policies and industry

standards

● Support and validate risk assessments, security reviews, and penetration testing

activities

● Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure, DevOps, and product teams to

ensure secure delivery

● Recommend and integrate relevant security technologies to enhance system resilience

Qualifications

● 2+ years of experience in cyber security or information security, including project

advisory roles – Must

● Strong understanding of application security, code-level vulnerabilities, and secure

coding practices – Must

● Experience with security risk assessment, threat modeling, and architecture validation –

Must

● Familiarity with networking, communication protocols, firewalls, vaults, and security

zones – Must

● Exposure to cloud security (AWS/Azure), mobile security, and enterprise environments –

Advantage

● Previous experience in a financial or large-scale organization – Advantage

● Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM – Advantage

● Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, data diodes

(whitelisting), and privileged access management systems

● Background in cloud computing and mobile security domains

Soft Skills

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills – Hebrew and English (written and

verbal)

● Ability to work with diverse stakeholders: business, technology, and leadership
