Our Group:
We are looking for a talented and versatile Algorithm Engineer to join our Advanced Sensor group. In this role, you will tackle diverse research questions in the world of computer vision and imaging, working on high-value projects with the potential to make a significant impact on our products and business processes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to drive projects from initial ideas to final products.
We are looking for someone who can take a theoretical problem, break it down into a research plan, and drive it to a working solution under the mentorship of senior team members.
What will you do?
- End-to-End Research: Take ownership of algorithmic challenges, from literature review and mathematical formulation to implementation and evaluation.
- Design, Implement & Evaluate: Work on computer vision algorithms across various stages of project maturity - from research and POCs to the deployment of production-grade systems.
- Bridge Theory & Practice: Translate academic papers and theoretical concepts into practical tools that impact our sensor technology.
- Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand the scope and constraints of our sensors and propose creative algorithmic solutions.
Requirements
- MSc in a STEM field (EE, CS, Math, Physics)- Must
- At least 3 years of experience in algorithm development
- Proven ability to conduct independent research, analyze complex data, and draw data- driven conclusions
- Strong proficiency in Python and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- A "problem solver" attitude- comfortable with open-ended questions and eager to learn new domains
Advantages:
- Background in Image Signal Processing (ISP) or Computational Photography
- Experience in Image Quality Assessment (IQA)
- Experience with on- device/edge deployment and optimization
- Familiarity with camera sensors and photography
