Backend Tech Lead – Integration Team (Node.js) - 3643

A global growing fintech SU company is looking for a Tech Lead – Integration Team (Node.js)

Your Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and architecture of Node.js microservices for payment

integrations.

- Drive end-to-end integrations with new payment providers and alternative payment

methods.

- Work closely with the Core, SDK, and Application teams to ensure smooth platform-wide

flows.

- Set engineering best practices, code quality standards, and review processes.

- Mentor and support developers on the team (senior + junior).

- Ensure services are high-availability, fault-tolerant, and observable.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and guide long-term improvements.

- Influence the technical roadmap and contribute to strategic decisions.

Requirements

- 5+ years of backend development experience with strong Node.js expertise.

- Strong understanding of REST, gRPC, async processing, and event-driven architectures.

- Experience designing and scaling distributed microservices.

- Hands-on experience with payments / fintech systems (big plus).

- Cloud background (AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong architectural thinking with the ability to lead technical discussions.

- Leadership mindset: ownership, autonomy, and ability to mentor others.
