General Summary

Qualcomm is seeking a Radio Validation Intern for its wireless communication R&D group. This position is ideal for candidates who are dedicated, organized, and ambitious, and who want to gain experience in complex system testing and debugging in a fast-paced professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with System and Integration engineers to troubleshoot integrated controls and RFIC for wireless communication systems.
• Develop automation test procedures, methods, and tools for testing and verification of cutting-edge multidisciplinary systems.
• Use Automatic Test Environment (ATE) development tools to automate testing processes.
• Measure results and create detailed reports.
• Assist in assembly, troubleshooting, and development of automation setups.
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications

• Student in B.Sc Electrical Engineering (3rd year).
• RF/Wireless communication background
• Willing to work at least 25 hours per week.
  
  

Advantageous Skills And Experience

• Basic technical background (technician or practical engineer background
• Scripting knowledge.
• Basic RF knowledge.
• Linux/Unix operating system experience.
• Experience in machine controls and automation test tools.
• Experience in developing test instructions and procedures.
  
  

Learning Opportunities

• Gain hands-on experience in RF validation and automation testing for advanced wireless communication systems.
• Work with ATE tools, scripting, and automation frameworks.
