Assistant Controller - 5488

Role Description:

Entrypoint is seeking a Corporate Controller for a high impact role that carries broad responsibility for financial reporting, controls, and leading cross organizational processes. The position includes close collaboration with the CFO and is suitable for someone coming from industry (not from a CPA firm) with approximately two years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the monthly and quarterly closing process, including in depth analyses and period over period comparisons

• Preparing management reports for senior leadership, with strong business orientation and the ability to craft the story behind the numbers

• Managing budget control, monitoring planned versus actual performance, and identifying gaps and required improvements

• Working with the bookkeeping team, providing professional guidance and oversight of accounting operations

• Preparing and monitoring governance accounting processes and implementing internal controls

• Working with external auditors, consultants, and various reporting frameworks

Requirements:

• Approximately five years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in industry (not from a CPA firm)

• Certified Public Accountant license

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Proven experience in financial closing, management reporting, and financial analysis

• Excellent command of Excel and ERP systems; experience with Priority is an advantage

• Experience managing processes with bookkeeping teams

• Strong ability to work independently, high level of organization and accuracy, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders

• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify trends and derive insights

• High level of English
