Financial Controller

We're Hiring: Financial Controller

A leading financial company is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2 years of experience as an accountant or assistant accountant, preferably from one of the Big 4 accounting firms, with strong expertise in credit, payments, and financial operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage end-to-end financial processes, including complex reporting to international partners like Mastercard
• Handle daily interactions with global stakeholders – high-level English required
• Oversee payment processing, currency conversions, credit transactions, and client funds
• Provide monthly reports to management
• Support budgeting, business planning, and process improvements, including SOX compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Technology, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Operations
• Maintain financial reconciliations and cash management

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory
• 2+ years' experience in accounting/assistant accounting – mandatory
• Experience at a Big 4 firm – mandatory
• Fluent English – mandatory
• Experience with international financial institutions – strong advantage
• Deep knowledge of Payments, Credit, Processing, and Currency Conversions
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and initiative
• Familiarity with BC ERP system – a plus
