Competitive Intelligence Analyst (AI Security Focus)

A leading cybersecurity company is seeking a highly skilled Competitive Intelligence Analyst with deep technical understanding of AI Security, adversarial threats, and modern cyber defense technologies. This role combines hands-on product analysis, threat research, and strategic insights to support product, R&D, marketing, and field teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth technical research and hands-on analysis of competitor products and AI security solutions, with emphasis on prevention capabilities and AI-driven defense.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize intelligence from public sources, customer feedback, analyst reports, and hands-on lab testing to validate and counter competitor claims.
• Monitor global AI threat landscapes, including adversarial AI, GenAI risks, model manipulation, and emerging LLM security trends.
• Develop competitive materials such as battlecards, deep-dive reports, and technical comparisons for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Threat Intelligence teams to verify findings and highlight technical differentiators.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and webinars to internal teams to strengthen competitive positioning.
• Influence leading analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) through data-driven insights showcasing the organization’s AI security capabilities.
• Support cross-organizational strategic initiatives around AI security positioning, product development, and market readiness.
• Proactively identify emerging competitors, market shifts, and disruptive technologies in AI and cybersecurity.

Required Background

• 3–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, competitive intelligence, or technical product analysis.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in security (detection models, AI-driven analytics, LLM-based tools).
• Knowledge of AI attack vectors including model poisoning, prompt injection, data leakage risks, and adversarial attacks.
• Hands-on experience in network, cloud, or endpoint security — required.
• Experience with security vendors (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) — an advantage.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) — a plus.
• Knowledge of Threat Prevention, SASE, SaaS Security frameworks.
• Understanding of AI governance standards, Responsible AI frameworks, and security evaluation methodologies — an advantage.
• Excellent English skills, including technical writing and presentation abilities.
