abra is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team.

In this role, you will develop and implement ML models to support risk assessment and decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with practical experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a financial or fintech environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, validate, and implement machine learning models (Regression, Classification, Supervised/Unsupervised).
Analyze large datasets to extract insights and support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems.
Apply Gen-AI techniques where applicable to enhance model performance.
Document model development processes and results.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field – required. Master’s degree – advantageous.
At least 3 years of practical experience in ML model development – required.
Practical experience in building Regression and Classification models (Supervised/Unsupervised) – required.
Strong Python skills (including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) – required.
Strong SQL skills – required.
Experience in Gen-AI model development – significant advantage.
Familiarity with finance or fintech domain – significant advantage.
Strong analytical thinking, data analysis, and ability to derive actionable insights – required.
High-level English proficiency – required.
Experience with SAS – advantage.
