Freelance Animator

Klydoclock is seeking versatile freelance animators for continuous, project-based collaboration.

Klydoclock is an analog-digital clock that transforms timekeeping into an ever-evolving artistic experience. Our clock displays a vast library of seamless, one-minute looping animations—from mesmerizing abstract patterns to playful characters—turning every minute into a work of art.

We are expanding our artist roster and looking for exceptionally creative Freelance Animators to craft visually stunning, perfectly looping animations across a wide range of styles. We offer consistent, ongoing freelance work for artists who are versatile, reliable, and excited to create fresh, unexpected loops that users will love.

If you love experimenting, storytelling through motion, and pushing boundaries in short-form animation, we’d love to collaborate.

• Conceptualize and animate unique seamless loops that push creative and visual boundaries.
• Produce diverse animations across a variety of styles, aesthetics, and subjects—from surreal worlds to bold graphic concepts.
• Ensure all animations are smooth, engaging, and optimized for the Klydoclock format.
• Experiment with new motion techniques, storytelling approaches, and artistic styles.
• Maintain Klydoclock’s quality standards while continually exploring new creative directions.
• Deliver projects on time and respond quickly to creative feedback and iteration requests.

• 2+ years of experience in animation, motion graphics, or video editing (professional or strong freelance portfolio).
• A portfolio showcasing looping animations and a range of styles.
• Strong proficiency in After Effects (required).
• Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro (required).
• Ability to adapt to different animation styles, moods, and aesthetics.
• Deep understanding of animation principles, fluid motion, and seamless loop techniques.
• Strong eye for color, composition, timing, and visual rhythm.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently with structured project briefs.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines and delivering consistent quality.

• Proficiency in 3D tools (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.).
• Experience with 2D animation tools (Animate, ToonBoom, Procreate, etc.).
• Experience using AI video/animation tools as part of your workflow.
