Physicist

quantum physics, quantum optics, atom cooling, opto-mechanics, mechanical engineering,

hardware, firmware, and software.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physicist to join our experimental physics group.

As an experimental Physicist, you will play a crucial role in our quantum computing research and

development efforts. You will work on the design, implementation, and optimization of cold atom

systems, as well as on quantum protocols that create logical quantum gates. This includes

developing experimental setups, conducting high-precision measurements, and collaborating with

cross-functional teams to integrate cold atom technologies into our quantum computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop experimental setups for cold atom trapping, cooling, and manipulation.

Conduct high-precision measurements and experiments to characterize and optimize cold atom

systems.

Develop and implement quantum algorithms and protocols using cold atom systems.

Collaborate with theorists, engineers, and other physicists to integrate cold atom technologies into

quantum computing platforms.

Analyze experimental data, identify trends, and propose solutions to improve system performance.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in cold atoms physics and quantum computing.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Physics, Quantum Optics, Atomic Physics, or a related field.

Proficiency in designing and setting up complex experimental apparatus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct independent research.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
