We are seeking an experienced Python Tech Lead to join our team. This role requires a skilled professional who can work independently, lead technical initiatives, and engage directly with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

About the Role

As a Python Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of robust Python applications while serving as a technical point of contact for our clients. You'll have the autonomy to make architectural decisions, guide technical direction, and mentor team members while managing your projects and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

Leading technical architecture and design decisions for Python applications. Working directly with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance. Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python applications and solutions. Mentoring team members and conducting code reviews. Managing your own workload and delivering projects independently. Communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contributing to best practices and technical standards within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Python development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college
• Fluency in both Hebrew and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong client-facing skills and experience working directly with customers
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Experience consuming and integrating external/3rd party APIs
• Proven experience in defining and implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience working with cloud platforms: Azure or AWS
• Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)

Preferred Qualifications

• BIG ADVANTAGE: Experience working with AI technologies and LLM integration
• BIG ADVANTAGE: Experience in working with banks
• Experience with modern Python frameworks and tools
• Background in agile development methodologies
• Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com
