Job Description:

For one of the leading communication and technology companies in Israel, we are seeking an experienced System Expert with a strong Networking background to join the corporate IT and infrastructure team. The role includes full responsibility for managing, maintaining, and improving server environments, cloud systems, and network infrastructures, with emphasis on availability, performance, and information security. The candidate will be a key player in the core infrastructure team and will take part in strategic projects in a complex organization with broad infrastructures that combine advanced System, Networking, and Automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing, maintaining, and upgrading Windows Server and Linux environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS and more.
• Managing and maintaining virtualization infrastructures: VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Designing, maintaining, and improving communication infrastructures: LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, Routing, Switching.
• Managing communication equipment (Switches, Firewalls, Routers) from vendors such as Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Troubleshooting broad technical issues and providing Tier 3–4 support.
• Working with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and SolarWinds.
• Writing procedures, documenting systems and configurations, maintaining knowledge bases, and training technical teams.
• Leading cross organizational technological projects in System, Networking, and Security domains.
• Developing automation processes and writing scripts to accelerate operational workflows (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Working collaboratively with Information Security, Cloud, and DevOps teams.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or another relevant technological field – advantage.

Professional Certifications:

• At least one required: MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, VMware VCP.
• Advantage: Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Network+, Linux+.

Professional Experience:

• At least 5 years of System experience in an Enterprise organization or large technological environment.
• Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux environments including AD, Exchange, IIS, DNS.
• Strong Networking background: design and implementation of complex communication architectures, Routing and Switching, VLAN management, Firewalls.
• Experience working with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN or NAS).
• Experience working with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) – advantage.
• Experience in automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible) – strong advantage.
• Experience working with advanced monitoring and control systems.
