Financial Manager – Britannica Asia

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Reports To: Managing Director, Britannica Asia

(with coordination with the Finance Team in Sydney, Australia)

About the Role

The Financial Manager will oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for Britannica Asia. Based in Bangkok, the role ensures financial accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with regional and global goals through close collaboration with the Sydney HQ team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee accounting, reporting, cash flow, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with Thai regulations and corporate policies.
Coordinate with Sydney HQ on Accounts Payable/Receivable and audits.
Manage contracts, vendors, and operational expenses.
Provide financial analysis and insights to regional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA preferred.
5–8 years’ experience in finance/accounting, ideally in a multinational organization.
Strong knowledge of Thai accounting, taxation, and compliance.
Experience with NetSuite ERP and proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent English communication and ability to collaborate across time zones.
