Product Designer (Maternity Leave Replacement)

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior–Mid Product Designer to join our team for a temporary (6-month with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role) maternity leave replacement position. In this role, you will work closely with our product managers and devs to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for our products. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with 1-3 years of experience to contribute to real-world projects and grow their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and refine flows for complex access management features (approvals, policies, integrations).
• Contribute to and maintain the Apono Design System, ensuring consistency across the platform.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to transform product requirements into clear, intuitive experiences.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI for both desktop and responsive screens.
• Translate complex concepts into user-friendly interfaces while keeping advanced users in mind.
• Participate in design critiques, usability testing, and iterative improvements.
  
  

• 1–3 years of experience in Product Design / UI/UX- Hands-on experience turning ideas into functional, user-friendly screens.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized design school (Bezalel, Shenkar, HIT, WIZO)- Strong academic background with solid design methodology.
• Strong portfolio- Real projects that demonstrate both visual skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with complex systems- Ability to simplify advanced workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants)- Mastery of the core tool, including smart component building.
• Familiarity with Design Systems- Ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
• Strong grasp of typography, color, and responsive design- Delivering clean, accessible, and polished interfaces across devices.
• Creativity & out-of-the-box thinking- Bringing innovative solutions, not just solving problems.
• Teamwork- Collaborating seamlessly with PMs, engineers, and other designers to deliver value.
• Knowledge of AI products - Familiarity with AI-driven tools and their applications in product design.
• Self-learning ability- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and methods
• Involvement in ideation and development processes- Active participation in product thinking and innovation.
  
  

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge and talent in illustration, animations, video, and branding.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
