Are you in?

We're looking for an IT & Data Security Manager who will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s information security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and protecting our infrastructure, data, and users. This is a hands-on role in a startup environment — you will plan the strategy and follow the implementation of the technical aspects.

In addition, this role includes management of our IT support personnel, ensuring seamless day-to-day support for employees while embedding strong security practices across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

Security Leadership

• Develop and maintain the company’s information security strategy, policies, and roadmap
• Own security architecture and best practices across infrastructure, applications, and operations
• Lead risk assessments, threat modeling, incident response planning, and security audits
• Build and enforce security awareness programs to educate employees and reduce risk
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA)
  
  

• Implement and manage security tools (Firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability scanners, etc.)
• Conduct penetration testing and coordinate third-party audits
• Respond to incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate remediation efforts
• Partner with Engineering teams to embed security into our product and day-to-day practices
  
  

• Lead and mentor the IT support team, ensuring efficient internal support
• Oversee IT infrastructure (identity & access management, endpoint management, collaboration tools, equipment procurement, etc.)
• Implement and enforce access control, identity lifecycle, and device security policies, on/offboarding of personnel
• Ensure high availability of IT services while aligning them with security goals
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong hands-on technical expertise in firewalls, network and endpoint security
• Familiarity and experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Experience leading incident response and security audits
• Proven ability to manage and grow a security/IT team
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to work closely with engineering and operations teams
  
  

• Experience in a fast-growing startup environment
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Background in IT operations and management
• Experience with the Fortinet ecosystem
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)
