Job Description:

As a SAS Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of actuarial and business data analysis systems using SAS technologies. This role requires hands-on experience in complex ETL processes, statistical modeling, and working with large-scale insurance data systems.

Responsibilities:

Development & Analysis:

Develop complex ETL processes in SAS for insurance data processing

Build actuarial and statistical models for pricing, reserving, and claims analysis

Develop management and regulatory reports (Capital reporting, Solvency, IFRS17)

Optimize and refactor existing SAS code for performance and maintainability

Data Management:

Work with large-scale databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)

Perform data validation and quality assurance

Integrate core systems with reporting platforms

Insurance Domain Expertise:

Deep understanding of insurance products (Life, Health, P&C, Pension)

Collaborate closely with actuaries and risk managers

Support pricing processes and reserve calculations

Implement regulatory requirements (Capital Market Authority, IFRS, Solvency II)

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in SAS development in the financial/insurance sector

Proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL

Strong understanding of insurance processes and actuarial concepts

Experience with SAS/STAT, SAS/ETS, or SAS Enterprise Guide

High-level SQL experience and working with large databases

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
